This two-day itinerary gives you the chance to enjoy Ha Long Bay from the luxury of your junk. Here you can relax on the tanning deck, swim in the clear waters and enjoy the best cuisine available in the bay. All the while you will be looked after by our dedicated and attentive crew. There is also the option of exploring some of the bay’s most secluded lagoons using our fleet of modern kayaks for some unforgettable scenery only accessible by kayak. Whilst on board you will indulge in two seafood lunches, one dinner and one breakfast. This overnight tour of Ha Long Bay also provides the perfect opportunity to sit back and watch the sunset or to try a spot of night fishing.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay Huong Hai cruises
In the morning we depart Hanoi around 8am, the drive to Halong Bay is around 3.5 hours along the way we have a short break. We arrive at the Warf at midday where we board our Junk cruise. After settle down in our cabin we have a lovely seafood feast while cruising into the bay. After lunch we will visit the inside of a limestone cave before finding a secluded bay to anchor for the night. There will be a chance to swim in the emerald waters before dinner. Accommodation for the night is in private, ensuite timber cabins with air-con and hot showers.

Day 2: Halong Bay
Awake the next morning to the lapping waters and enjoy a breakfast overlooking the bay. Either relax on the boat or explore the bay with kayaks. In the afternoon we cruise around the bay at a leisurely pace, stopping to explore more caves. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the boat reading, sunbathing or swimming before a decadent seafood meal.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Today we continue to cruise around the bay to find secluded spots for swimming and kayaking. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey back to Hanoi. We should be back in the capital at around 3:00pm.

Junk Cruises Description:
Huong Hai Junk Cruise is like floating hotel. Here are some of the junk’s facilities:
From 2 to 6 ensuite twin-share cabins (depend on which Junk) with air-conditioning and western style bathroom
Hot and cold running water and shower in each bathroom
Dining room serving Vietnamese fare
Licensed bar with extensive wine list
Sun tanning area with adjustable sun lounges
Sea kayaks upon request
Night fishing from the boat
Fully staffed crew from 6 to 8 people (depend on which Junk)
