Description
This trip has been designed to cover all the highlights of the north east of Vietnam. It has a great variety combination between; Ba Be Lake, Cao Bang, Ban Gioc waterfall, the border town of Lang Son and Ha Long Bay. Ha Long Bay, with its 3,000 islands rising from the clear emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, is one of the natural Wonders of Vietnam and a World Heritage Listed site. Ba Be Lake National Park is an incredibly beautiful area boasting waterfalls, rivers, and deep valleys, lakes and caves set amid towering peaks. Members of the Dao minority who live in homes built on stilts inhabit the area. The town of Lang Son is known for its markets with cheap goods smuggled across the border from China.

Day 1 Arrive Hanoi
Upon arrival we will be welcomed at the airport and delivered to our hotel. We will be given a briefing about traveling in Vietnam before enjoying a special welcome dinner at an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. (Dinner included)

Day 2 Hanoi - Ba Be Lake
We depart from Hanoi at 07.30. We arriving in Ba Be town around 14h30, after checking in at the guesthouse, we will head out for a bit of exploration before the sunsets. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Day 3 Ba Be Lake
We take our private boat for a cruise on the lake. . We take a short trek to a PacNgoi village - Tay Minority People. We continue to visit Dau Dang waterfall, Puong Cave and more cruising along the Nang River.(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Day 4 Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang
8h00 we drive 90km to Cao Bang. The Province is the home where the H'mong, Dzao, Tho and Nung ethnic minorities people live in harmony.(Breakfast included)

Day 5 Cao Bang - BanGioc waterfall
After breakfast at the hotel we depart for Ban Gioc waterfall. It takes a 3 hour drive from Cao Bang to Ban Gioc waterfall, which forms a natural border between Vietnam and China.(Breakfast, Lunch included)

Day 6 Cao Bang - Lang Son
In the morning we drive 150 km to Lang Son on the Chinese border. We stop for taking photos on That Khe Pass. After lunch we go to visit Nhi Thanh Cave, Tam Thanh Pagoda and the market at Dong Kinh, the biggest market in the area fully stocked with Chinese goods. Overnight at hotel in Lang Son. (Breakfast, Lunch included)

Day 7 Lang Son - Halong Bay
In the morning we depart Lang Son for the 180 km drive to Halong city. Overnight in hotel (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included)

Day 8 Halong bay - Hanoi
At 8h00 we leave our hotel for the Wharf, where we take our private boat to visit the secluded bay for 5 hours, having a wonderful seafood lunch on boat. We head back to Hanoi for overnight (Breakfast, Lunch included)

Day 9 Departure
Today we are free at our leisure until the time we transfer to the airport for our flight to home.
